Matt


Matt's culinary journey spans from Cornwall to Southeast Asia, blending his multicultural roots into a flavourful adventure. Raised in a small village called Mylor bridge, close to Falmouth & Penry, with influences from both his English mother and Indian father, he developed a diverse palate shaped by a range of culinary experiences and memorable family holidays.

Starting as a Kitchen Porter at 16, he progressed through roles at the Pandora Inn and Watergate Bay Hotel, refining his skills. Now Head Chef at The Old Thatch Inn, Matt's passion lies in crafting innovative dishes that showcase fresh, seasonal ingredients, delivering unique dining experiences infused with heart and passion.
